We feel so privileged to have come across Emily’s service! Her approach to parent coaching is so different to anything else we have read or heard. Emily had a way of helping us figure out the root causes of ‘why’ our son’s behaviour and temperament fluctuate, alongside helping us work out tools to help us work better as a family unit. Emily’s approach is so non-judgmental, friendly and patient. Thank you so much Emily! Our family is so much better off for having used Natural Parent Coaching

Cliff and Kayleigh Clarke

“Emily has been wonderful! After our first session together I felt encouraged. Emily gets it. She listens and actually understands and provides some fab ideas. I loved the insight into different personality types that my children identify with! Thanks Emily, you have changed our home”

Shells

“We had such an amazing positive experience! The plan that was put in place worked perfectly for the particular personality type our daughter has too! Emily has a really great approach to it all! But is completely non-judgemental throughout the process! Highly recommend! 5+ stars”.

Michelle Green

“Emily has helped our family so much. From understanding our children’s personalities to their birth order (and ours) determines certain traits and needs. Our eldest child has ADHD and anxiety. Emily went out of her way to help us to understand him and she gave us super creative and practical strategies for managing challenging behaviours and situations. Thank you so much Emily for your innate understanding of how families work and your judgement-free, open and honest consultations.”

Jo and Grant

“Emily really helped us develop and deepen our own values and parenting style within our family. She provided practical ways to bring about success in certain situations that we believed were in more need of development and understanding. We found her highly valuable and would definitely recommend for families”

Reuel and Natalie Percy

“Emily helped us look at our own personalities and those of our children, and how they contribute to our family dynamic. She also gave us a framework for dealing with our troublesome mealtime issues which was immediately effective!”.

About Emily

Qualified and Registered ECE Teacher

I have always loved working with parents and kids. I’ve always been fascinated by the diversity of children and their parents and seen the value of using different strategies for different personalities and characters.
I have been married for eight years to my amazing husband Jason and we have three beautiful and very different girls; Pippa, Annie and Bambi. Parenthood for us has been a huge learning curve and unexpected journey as our middle child has struggled with Epilepsy. We sympathise with parents who have children who have extra needs and know first-hand how difficult this can be while trying to juggle work, home and other kids.

My Approach

I’m a mum, wife, friend. I’m a down-to-earth and non-judgemental ear to listen and offer thoughts and advice from a wealth of experience and education. I am passionate about seeing families thrive and flourish – accentuating each other’s strengths and learning how to deal with each other’s weaknesses.

My Process

I start by asking you to complete a questionnaire which allows me some insight into your current family situation and your personalities. I then have a face-to-face with you where we work through some of the challenges you face. I then offer some tools and ideas for you to try out. Often, follow up meetings are required, but we can just work together to get to the desired result.

Notes and Tools

After getting to know you, your family and your unique situation, I spend time working out some tools and ideas for you to work through in your family homes. I also have some other literature that I can make available to you as you journey with me to make your family situation more peaceful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn How it Works!

where do we meet for our Consultation?

I can meet you where ever suits you at your family stage! From Zoom meetings online, to meeting at your place, or even in a cafe.

What do you assess?

My experience has taught me to look at the big picture when it comes to children and family dynamics. I look at everything from birth order to personality types (across the WHOLE family – not just the kids!!)

how many sessions can i do?

As many or as little as you like! As many as you feel you need. As many as it takes for you to feel empowered in your parenting

How much do you charge?

Our initial consultation will cost $89 which includes the booklet, summary email of the session and text throughout the week. I do recommend follow up meetings, as it allows you us to work through the challenges more effectively. Each follow up session costs $60. Or you can buy a package meeting weekly or fortnightly:

3 Sessions: $169

5 Sessions: $225

do you deal with learning difficulties due to disability?

Yes, absolutely! I will come from a behaviour rather than a medical view, going through the same process of finding out who the child is apart from their disability as well as due to their disability.

who is in the session? can my spouse or kids join in?

Ideally, it is great for me to meet with you and your spouse for the initial session but it is fine just to meet with one of you. Your children do not need to be there but it is fine if they are in the background playing. It is also fine for you to invite a support person to the meeting.

can we do everything online?

Yes! This is the beauty of the internet these days – I can ‘meet’ with you online and work with you via phone/email/zoom if that’s what you prefer, or if you are situated in a different city
