where do we meet for our Consultation?
I can meet you where ever suits you at your family stage. From Zoom meetings online, to meeting at your place, or even in a cafe!!
What does an INitial Session look like?
We start off by talking about one conflict that is hard at that particular moment. We talk about what that conflict looks like and what might be the contributing factors.
We then look through the booklet provided to figure out if their values, your parenting styles, either of your personalities, birth order, love lanugage or age and stage give us a better picture of the ‘why’ behind the behaviour and from there look at unique strategies and ideas to solve the conflict.
Often we will just focus on one or two sections of the booklet at each session depending on your scenerio.
How long will it take?
The first initial session takes about one hour but follow up sessions depending on your situation are usually shorter- about half an hour.
How much do you charge?
Each session costs $59.
Phone consultations under one hour cost $40.
do you deal with learning difficulties due to disability? Do you deal with all ages?
Yes, absolutely! I will come from a behaviour angle rather than medical view so just keep that in mind but please get in touch and I’d love to help you and your family!
Again Yes, Absolutely! Because my booklet is not age limited, there is no age limit though my area of expertise is preschool aged.
who is in the session? can my spouse or kids join in?
Ideally, it is great for me to meet with you and your spouse for the initial session but it is fine just to meet with one of you. Your children do not need to be there but it is fine if they would like to be or are playing in the background.
can we do everything online?
Yes! This is the beauty of the internet these days – I can ‘meet’ with you online and work with you via phone/email/zoom if that’s what you prefer, or if you are situated in a different city
